Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC)

The Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme (BSCC) is an EDUCATION LOAN SCHEME launched by the Government of Bihar under the 7 Nischay – Yuva Mission. BSCC is a EDUCATION LOAN SCHEME (not a scholarship), designed to support students who wish to pursue higher, technical, or vocational education but face financial constraints.

⚠️ Important Clarification

  • BSCC is a LOAN, not a scholarship or grant.
  • The sanctioned loan amount must be repaid by the student after completion of the course, as per government-approved repayment norms
  • BSCC is an interest-free education loan scheme.
  • Students are required to repay only the principal loan amount in easy installments.
  • Repayment usually starts after course completion or employment, as per BSCC guidelines.
